How To Wear Playsuits.

How To Wear Playsuits.

The shorter sister of the jumpsuit, playsuits aren’t just for the kids. Worn the right way they’re sexy and cool (I wore one here for day and here for night).

Here are the rules of  getting it right.

1. Choose a style in a loose/light/fluid/draped fabric – nothing shiny or tight please.

2. I always buy a size up – roomier is better with this type of style.

3. If the jumpsuit has long pants then the straps should be thin (or strapless) and if the legs are short then the suit should have sleeves. Why??? Short legs and thin straps can look like a swimsuit. Sleeves and long legs can look like a Pit Crew outfit.

The Inspiration Wall.

This post could otherwise be titled “how to be look ridiculously cute and stylish” – love your jumpsuit and the wall of inspiration!

I absolutely agree. It’s the comfiest and most elegant piece of clothing when the fabric and size are chosen wisely. I always had a soft spot for silky-but-not-too-silky fabrics for playsuits, and always get one size bigger because, well, it “falls” better as we say in France !

I just posted my version on the playsuit look – right here -, this might give my fellow ladies some ideas !

    xx, Iman
