Bianca Jagger Hats.

Bianca Jagger Hats.

Are you surprised that I’m fond of a hat?

There are drawers in my closet dedicated to hair switches, wigs and hats.

Favourite party theme: wig and hat.

I have worn hats to work many times – sometimes to snickers from colleagues (you know who you are) – but mostly I bust them out on the weekends or evenings.

My favourite shapes are the Keith Richard Fedora or Bianca Jagger Floppy – keeping the shapes in The Stones family – but the poor boy cap, the driving cap, the 1920’s pill box and the beanie are all having moments this season.

I prefer my hats in black, white and browns but there are some awesome colours in store – ox blood, grey, cobalt blue – so, if you like it bright now is the time to buy.

Hats are not an excuse for bad hair – they look best when your hair does too. Opt for some texture and tousle under a wide brim or sweep it back into a low ponytail.

WEARING: Black puff sleeve top from Morrison; black skirt from Zara, Jagger Hat from Jendi; black patent pumps from Saint Laurent (CLICK TO BUY), and Hermes leather cuff bracelet (CLICK TO BUY).

This post reminds me of Habitually Chic’s Hat Attack’s post
Having said that I am not a fan of these hats, too hippy dippy I suppose but then again given that YSL Spring 2013 collection dictates that witch like wide brim hats are the go, I suppose mass market would follow.

I have pretty much the same hat but in a caramel colour. I LOVE it! The only problem with hats for me having short hair is that once they are on they MUST stay on all day. Flat hat hair is not a good look :(
