Double The Dish.
I'm in the throws of an interiors renovation project at the moment. It's a hat I wear that I don't often talk about but one of the things I love most is helping people create special spaces in their homes.
Anyway, I had just ordered a cool new dishwasher for my clients kitchen when my own machine broke.
I was literally on the phone making the order when mine decided to stop.
And never start again.
Just one day later, I received an email asking whether I would like to road-test the new Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer™ Double Dishwasher.
The very same applianced I had just bought for someone else.
The Kitchen Fairy was looking down on me.
So that's how I found myself here: in my kitchen, wearing a ball gown, all dressed up for the chicest dishwasher I've ever owned.
If you're renovating or upgrading, then consider switching to this model because not only is it saving my back and time but.. I could seriously do my make-up in the finish this baby gives the cutlery.
It's that good.
Regular readers know my mantra: "Use your good things".
The flip of that wisdom is: "Make sure the things you use look good".
This should absolutely apply to your dishwasher - an appliance you use multiple times each day.
The reason I'm wearing one of my old Logies frocks is to show you just how good looking this machine is. The Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer™ Double Dishwasher uses beautiful stainless steel and a simple electric interface to create this super sleek look that will elevate the appearance of any kitchen it inhabits.
Often upgrading appliances can be a real headache. This model fits into the cavity left by most standard dishwashers so there's no need to further integrate or cut existing cabinetry.
It simply slides in with a bulit in kick-board and looks like it was always there.
Fisher & Paykel have spent 20 years refining the DishDrawer™– with over a million test cycles since its debut to ensure it delivers on both performance and reliability. The combination of intelligent electronics and simple mechanics creates an efficient dishwasher you can trust to get the job done.
This appliance that has been built to mimic the way we live.
Some days you only have a couple of things in the dishwasher and other times you could run it all day long.
The thing I love the most about this system is that you can operate the drawers independently of each other. It's like having two dishwashers.
For example: you can have the top drawer on a fast cycle (25 minutes) for your glasses and the bottom drawer running a heavy wash for your pots.
Or you can just run one drawer on its own in the morning after breakfast which means clean dishes when you get back from work.
The drawers work on sensor. So when you slide them open the controls immediately switch over to the drawer which is active.
It’s pretty genius.
One of my pet hates is appliances that overcomplicate things.
A dishwasher should be simple and make your life easier.
It's the simplest interface I've used on ANY kitchen appliance.
Seriously anyone can use it. Even children which is why there is an impenetrable child lock to prevent it being turned into a new favourite toy!
There are only four buttons which cruise you through the cycle options seamlessly.
And then you press start or pause. The End.
It's saving my back.
I didn't realise just how much I was bending over with my old regular flip door machine.
The ergonomic design of the Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer™ Double Dishwasher has cut down said bending. Even little things like the position of the detergent dispensers (one in the top and one in the bottom) make a big difference to the wear and tear on your body.
My Mum and Dad have ordered one for this very reason. It's the sort of machine that would have been so great when my daughters were little. You can totally do the baby on the hip, load the machine thing with this product.
At the end of the day - literally EVERY day - all I want from a dishwasher is a sparkly, clean, sanitized finish.
Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer™ Double Dishwasher has delivered the best results I’ve ever experienced.
Glasses look like a television commercial, the crockery is bone dry - none of that slimey, filmy stuff, - and the cutlery hasn't looked so good since I unwrapped it.
Yes it takes a moment or two of getting used to but one wash into the Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer™ Double Dishwasher and I was converted.
It's the future and I'm glad we're there.
