Blue & White China.

London made me fall in love with chinoiserie china all over again.

Everything, everywhere in the UK is blue and white porcelain – they do it better than the US.

I collect vases, plates and ginger jars in the genre but now I want to collect more. My aim is the perfect round table stack.

Style them with coral, place them on your dinner table or fill them with a huge bouquet of flowers.

Prepare to be obsessed….

This is my latest obsession too! I have mugs, plates and bowls. I have my eye on a couple of blue chinese lamps at the moment and I am particularly obsessed with Ralph Lauren blue stripey fabrics to go with them.

I have been collecting blue and white china now for over a decade. One could say (especially the husband) that I am obsessed. Every country I visit I always try to collect a new piece to add to my collection. To me it makes it more personal and each piece has its own story to tell. One of my favorite pieces I picked up was in a dry cleaners come thrift shop somewhere in country England for 10 pounds, but I love it.

I love blue & white china and love to decorate with it in my home. What a great way to change a whole look with just a move of a piece here and there. To highlight the look even more just add spring flowers.
